Hi all,

I have a fiesta 1.6 titanium and I was wondering if anyone has ever added a turbo to one of these before that could give me some advice?
I'm getting a new car soon and wanted to keep this car around to add little modifications to, so that if I mess it up it's not gonna be too much of an issue!

I was wondering if anyone could suggest a turbo, even a small one that would be able to fit in the engine bay, and how would I go about applying the power to the car itself?

Sorry if it's a stupid question but I'm new to all this and wanted to get experience before I buy other cars to build as projects 🙂

    This has come up a few times before and iirc the general consensus was the work/expense involved would make it more economic to swap the the car for an ST.

    I have seen a supercharger conversion (very expensive):

    Otherwise conventional tuning from the likes of Mountune, Pumaspeed etc takes this engine to around 140bhp for £1500 or so.

    Another factor is that the 5 speed box is not really up to taking the torque of a turbocharged engine. This box was carried forward on the Mk 7.5 1.0 ecoboosts and there are numerous threads on here of problems, particularly the 140ps cars. The ST has a stronger 6 speed box.
