Touch screen and USB ports not working

Hi! I have a ford fiesta active 69 plate and today I started my car and the touch screen was black and wouldn't come on at all, no sound coming from it or lights on the play buttons and also steering wheel controls for the sound system did nothing. I then also realised that both USB ports aren't working (my phone won't charge) I assume its something to do with the screen. Once it had gone dark I realised that the lights on the USB ports and 12V port did not come on either so its like it is all turned off? I disconnected the battery for 10 minutes but no difference. Any help would be great before I have to book it into ford and wait for availability!! Thank you!

    Sounds like the Sync module has given up, although I've never seen it take out the 12v socket as well. The USB ports are hardwired to the Sync module so it makes sense they're not working.

    I have a friend who is a ford tech and he mentioned the module too. I haven't actually tried the 12v socket as in use it but the light ring around it isn't illuminating so that may actually work to be honest. I guess it's definitely a job for ford then? Thank you for helping. 🙂
