Hi GUys Newbie here :D

I have an ST170 which im having a small issue with, the fuel gauge seems to be faulty as when it gets to between 1/4 tank tand the red markings my car runs out of fuel no light appears but i think thi sis due to it never getting low enough.

Has anybody had similar issues or know what to check for

its most likley the fuel sender unit there is a ford tsb known for this fault on the 2000/2001 model focus

sorry forgot to add mine is the 2003 model, so could it be the same issue just not as part f the recall, sorry if i sound abit thick :S

make a call to ford and find out, you could also try cleaning the contacts to the sender unit in case there are connection problems
