Adjustable end links/ drop links

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I need some help please. I have a 2013 Ford Figo, similar to fiesta mk6. I believe it same platform. I recently installed coilovers and adjustable drop links.

My issue is with the drop links and sway bar. I had the car on bricks with wheels off so I have space to work and the car is loaded while I adjust them. I noticed however that the fit into the sway bar at different lengths. The passages side end link is 29cm while the drivers side is 28cm, To achieve zero preload.

I find this strange as the stock, OEM drop links are the same length, which would imply a slight preload on one side? Has anyone done something similar or could share thought on why the end link don’t line up with the sway bar when they are the same length and one needs to be shorter than the other to achieve zero preload.

Thanks in advance for your input
