Aircon problem

Featured Replies

The aircon in my Ford Focus mk3 in only blowing out of the 2 left sided vents ( passenger side ). It was regassed in March and rechecked in August when the problem started and I was told, no leaks and enough gas. The garage were stumped. The aircon does chill the air a little bit now but nowhere near as cold as it should get. Anyone else had this problem.

Do your heaters blow hot out of every vent?

Your aircon system itself just blows air over a single evaporator to get the cold air. For it to only be coming out of a few vents sounds like an issue with the ducting.

Process of elimination shut the vents that work and see where the air is going, If the regass was warrantied take it back, mine didnt seem cool enough till i closed the vents where nobody was and directed it all to me.
