Fiesta 2011 Strange noise when Braking

Featured Replies

Hi guys im just wondering if anyone can help, i recently had a slight knocking noise coming from the nearside front suspension on a fiesta and took it to a local garage, they replaced the wishbones and drop links and ever since i have had it back the car sounds awful when braking, it sounds as though something is rubbing against the wheel or brakes the closest i can find on youtube is this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qCWckDLXi4

ive taken it back and have been told its possibly the brake caliper Yet there was no caliper noise before I took it to them of any sort, the new noise is on the drivers side (it went into the garage because of the nearside) I’ve been looking into this online and some people have mentioned similar sounds being in the ball joint. Being that that was replaced it sounds possible to me,

has anyone experienced anything similar before i get the impression the garage feel im trying to pull a fast one yet there was never any noise like this before taking it to them and its highly embarrassing on the streets being how noisy it is,

i dont think it could be the driveshaft or wheel bearing as they were fine before it went into the garage, i literally heard the noise the same day i picked it up

thank you
