Radio loud thud after 22 seconds.

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,

I have a 2017 (67 plate) 1.0 ecoboost fiesta.

Yesterday I noticed my radio will only play for around 22 seconds and then a loud thud can be heard. This loud thud then continues every 22 seconds whether the radio is switched on or not. When the audio cuts out, 0@ is displayed on the DAB radio page with 'DAB station not found.' I'm unable to change the station or change the from FM, DAB etc. The audio controls on the steering wheel will not work either. I've tried a soft reset and a master reset. I've also tried to update the software by connecting it to WiFi, with no luck. I have taken a video of what happens each time, but I'm unable to upload it here.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to get this working again, or has anyone had a similar issue?

Thank you.

Sabrina.
