Considering the press etc coverage it's amazing how few signed. Let's hope this one fares better!

Yes, that is a rather annoying thing about trying to sign something on change.org, which is why I prefer to try to find a petition on the Parliament site if possible.

You can wiggle round it on the change.org site with a bit of ingenuity. I don't really mind them asking for a voluntary donation if you wish, but they shouldn't make it difficult to say no.

I also noticed they asked for money, minimum £3 but also I had the option of sharing on Facebook and What’s App. So I did share on Facebook and could only have maximum 5 persons to send to on What’s App. So hopefully we can get the 500,000 signatures that’s needed.

They'll never ban smart motorways, to do so would be admitting that they were wrong and they'll never do that. They've wasted far too much money on them to back down.
