Catalytic Convertor replacement

Featured Replies

Hi All, I am trying to fit a Cat Convertor to my Ford Galaxy Zetec 1.6 Auto Petrol 2001 as mine was stolen. Has anyone got any pics to show me the correct way it sits on the undercarriage. I have inserted a pic of how mine is sitting and even though I am saying its not right, the manufacturer is telling me it is.

Please can someone clear this up for me.

As you can see the cat is sitting with the ridge vertical, this is the only way it fits. However when its turned horizontal it wont fit onto the back exhaust pipe. Also I have been told the Lamda sensor should be sitting on the side and not on top???
