Kuga electric handbrake

Featured Replies

2017 Kuga titanium with an electric handbrake.

The handbrake handle has broken off, leaving just enough handle to be usable, is this common and anybody seen a guide on how to get at it?

Many thanks

I don't know how to replace it on that car, but for info if you do replace it then with some cars you need to reset it by doing the following otherwise it will not work and a DTC will be set.

Apply and release the Parking Brake twice within 5 seconds, pausing with the switch in the neutral position for approx 1/2 a second between each apply and release.
