Water in spare wheel well

Featured Replies

Hi again, new here 😁 my wife very recent got a 1.0 Ecoboost Titanium, only had it about 10 days, I've noticed water getting into the boot / spare wheel well, I've dried it up 3 times now (not an awful lot) can anyone tell me if this is coming in via the tailgate, there are some slot/holes just above the back bumper that I assume are some sort of ventilation holes ? can water be getting in there ? there are some rubber grommet / plugs things on the boot floor, is the water coming in there somehow, maybe one is a bit perished ? we have had a few rainy days, therefore the car has been driven in the rain, so is the water getting from underneath cos of spray, or is it a seal somewhere in the boot ?
