The dreaded engine light is on...only 8000 miles and no sign of any obvious problem...is there by chance a common problem that other members may have experienced for their Fiesta's 2017 onwards...Thank you in advance for any guidance.

    Could be something as simple as an O2 sensor? Any issues with low coolant etc? 
     

    Could get a cheap code reader? Or a Forscan tool to check the codes?

    Get a code reader from tunnel rat with the extra switch on it. Everyone should have one in their glovebox.  Forscan software is free for windows. I have it on my iPhone, I think it was about six quid for iPhone / android
