RS2000 complete hand break kit

Featured Replies

Hello , I have just recently bought a mk5 rs2000 replica and looking to put it on the road but I’m missing the original handbrake mechanism in the back wheel axle, it’s currently on disc breaks but for an MOT I also need to have drum breaks. I’m looking for the complete kit , new or second hand can anyone help me? Jason Bournemouth

MOT won't matter whether its disc or drum brakes, as long as the braking performance is within minimum specification, which it will be if setup right then theres no issue.

The mk5 rs2000 used both on the rear disc, a calliper  for the normal brakes and a drum type arrangement inside the hub for the parking brake, I read the first post as that the parking brake parts are missing.

Jason, have you tried on RS2000-16v.com

Thank you I only just seen your response, sorry I’m new to this forum stuff. Yes I’m missing the internal break shoes mechanism currently it’s on the hydraulic handbrake with calipers at the back I’ll look at RS 2000 16 valve.com

do you know of anyone breaking a mk5 rs2000?
