Fuel return/leak off pipe clips driving me nuts...

Hello all. 

Does anyone know if there is a specific tool to reinstall the damn leak off pipe clips by any chance or whether the clips can go back on in the opposite orientation? Everything about this car has been a nightmare and these clips are no different. LN plyers, flat blade screwdrivers and a magnet + nearly an hour to get one ***** clip on, surely a Ford main dealer doesn't have this hassle?

If anyone can give me a head up it'd be much appreciated! Failing that I think I'm going to remortgage the house, buy a gallon of petrol and some swan vesta!
