As I had no RCL on my fusion bought this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313449932211   Worst outcome is lose a fiver but it works perfectly! I dunno about the boot release as mine doesnt work off the button on the dash either but its a cheap fix if you want central locking

    Interesting.

    If you cannot hear the solonoid shaft going when you press the dash button, the solonoid could have failed.

    easy to replace and relatively cheap via ebay i believe, connect voltmeter on solonoid connections - press dash button and i think 12v should be there as a trigger

    Pressing the button does nothing I will look on ebay see whats available thanks for the tip!
