ENGINE VIBRATION PLEASE HELP

Featured Replies

Hi all really hoping somone can help

Ford fiesta mk7.5

2013 1.5 tdci diesel engine 55000 miles

So around 3 weeks ago I noticed that the car had a lot of vibration I took it in to the garage and had the engine mounts replaced top and bottom. The bottom mount was really bad!

After replacing the vibration aren't as bad but the engine still has a lot of vibration specially at idle.

Recently just got it serviced again and had the oil and fuel filter changed. The oil that was dropped was caught and checked and was fine and clean (nothing in the oil).

I'm still getting really bad vibration from the engine and when driving I can feel the vibration through the floor of the drivers footwell and slightly through the gear stick.

The cars performance is still the same no loss in power no smoke from the exhaust ect and pulls fine and good fuel mpg.

The gearbox seems to be fine no unwanted noise and the clutch seems okay as gears are smooth and engage without issue.

Has anyone come across anything like this or know what could be causing the engine to vibrate hell of a lot!

I appreciate your time reading

I wonder if your car has a dual mass flywheel it might be worth looking into?
