Engine malfunction

have a 06 ford galaxy 1.8 tdci engine malfunction comes on about 3000 revs but goes off if below 3000 revs

I have changed the turbo maf sensor ait sensor fuel filter air filter but still can't work out what is wrong also put o  a code reader but no codes and no engine management light

    What code reader did you use? An engine malfunction should still trigger a code.

    What version of FORScan do you have ?   and also are you using the modified ELM327 lead from TunnelRat Electronics ?

    Yes I am using a modified EML327 and the latest version of FORScan

    I will try later with the reader again to see if any fault codes come up
