Door Card Removal and Speakers

Featured Replies

I've recently acquired a 2008 fusion.  Does anyone know if the way of removing the door cards is pretty much similar to the Mk6 Fiesta?  And does anyone know what sizes the speakers are for the front and rear, and would aftermarket speakers require mounting brackets?  Any help with info much appreciated 🙂

Nobody seems to know

Looking at the accessories page on catcar lists 6x8 Pioneers as an upgrade (TS A6813) - but  perhaps a visit to a scrappy with a tape measure might be the definite solution

A6813 Specs:

Butyl Rubber Surround

High Energy Strontium Magnet

5/8" Poly-Imide Dome Tweeter

Deep Basket for Enhanced Bass Response

150 Watts Max. Music Power (40 Watts Nominal)

Frequency Response: 30 to 28,000Hz

4 Ohm Rated

Dimensions: 8" x 5-3/4" x 2-3/4"

Shame they don't seem to be available....

My 2007 has 6x9" as standard.

I got a £20 pair of pioneers with a voucher I got from the meerkats. Halfrauds site recommend 4" as per the reg checker.

It was wrong.

A T20 bit opens the door and a 6x9 is what awaits you.

Anyone want some 4" pioneers? 🤣
