Ford Fiesta MK8 wont go into 5th or 6th

I have a mk8 ford fiesta 1.0 ecoboost and yesterday i was driving normally and all of a sudden as  shifted into 5th the revs went really high and the gear didn't engage. Ever since then, it wont shift into 5th or 6th at all. 

1st to 4th and Reverse are fine. Previous to this, i would often have to double clutch for 2nd and 6th to ensure the gear would actually go in but since this has happened, second has no trouble any more.

 

does anyone have any idea of what this could be and how potentially expensive this could be for me?
