Powertrain light and stability control light

Featured Replies

Hi just yesterday I was driving my 2009 1.4l fiesta and the powertrain light and stability control light came on at the same time there was heavy power loss and now my car will only go upto 2000 rpms the car has a perfect service history and is getting run with top grade oil. When I turn the ignition on the light stay illuminated and won’t go away and when getting driven shows engine malfunction service now. No codes are showing on my OBD2 scanner so I don’t know what it could be?

We don’t know what kind of obd scanner you are using.  Is it a good quality elm327 device with good software like forscan. If the lights on it must have a code in there, but you need the correct equipment to find it. Not necessarily expensive equipment.
