Fitting aftermarket radio

Featured Replies

Hello,

I’m new here so just wondering if anyone could help. I’ve just purchased a 2014 Ford Fiesta studio with the very basic radio (not the Sony one). I’m looking to upgrade to a pioneer CarPlay radio. My issue is that all the other people I have seen that have done this have kept the old stock radio screen in. How do you control this as my TPMS goes through this and if it trips I need to be able to reset it.
Thanks in advance

If you want CarPlay it’s always going to be a compromise on a Fiesta Mk7.5.

In some ways the neatest solution would be to upgrade to a higher series headunit from a similarly aged Fiesta. Does your car only have front speakers as I know at some point the lower series models lost rear speakers. If you only have fronts I’d install rear speakers before looking at a headunit upgrade.

Loads of threads on the same subject, you’re better off searching the forum via google and trawling through the results.

to answer your question push and hold the voice button on steering wheel for 5 seconds to access the menus. up down left right buttons navigate the menus.  don't push any button for 15 seconds to save and exit.

Sorry for the late reply. My model has the M button instead of the voice button so don’t know if this still works. I’ll give it a try later. Thanks

If you still have the stock radio fitted the above won't work, only aftermarket fitments work this way. Factory fitted systems work through the radio.

Thanks a lot for your help unfortunately I have the basic fiesta which doesn’t not have the voice button. Would this still work with just the M button?

I believe it would but not able to confirm. connects2 does various kits maybe best to head over to there site input your vehicle details and see what pops up.

Thanks a lot for your help. I don’t know why Ford have to make it this confusing cause I would rather not lose my vehicle settings!
