Soaked footwell

Featured Replies

I have just purchased a ford fiesta mk7 3door and came across a problem with the rear footwell behind drivers seat seems to be soaking wet, any help or ideas where to check?

Any help will be appreciated

Many thanks

Unusual a rear footwell that has water ingress.

Usually the front due to blocked water channels or leaking windscreen seal, at worse heater matrix leaking.

Can you confirm if it's just water? Does your car have a sunroof as a possibility of blocked drain channels.

Also check rear door seal rubbers. Is it just one side and if so is it just the rear or is it soaking through from the front.

Regards.

Mark

Sorry just read your post again, yours is a 3 door, so no rear door seal, hmmmm it must be travelling from the front.

Check the spare wheel well and the hatch seals for water ingress
