Do you guys think a 5 door fiesta would look stupid all done up modifications etc? The ones I see mostly are all 3 door

Each to their own really.  I've always hated 3 door cars so 'done up' 5 doors in various marques...  Most car people hate 5 doors but at the end of the day it's your car, not theirs...

I find a 5 door car far more practical. I rarely carry passengers in the back, but do find putting/retrieving stuff from back seats and footwells far easier with extra doors. It is one of the main reasons why I decide not to buy a mk7 red edition. 

As for modifying, I personally don't think it matters. There are of course some cars you can only buy with 4/5 doors.

Depends what you want to do to it, there are 5 door STs here and in the USA that have had just as much mods done to them as 3 doors.

I'm one of those who hate three door cars and have only ever had one.   That was a three door Cortina before we had seat belts.   Now that we have seat belts, I can't reach them in a three door Fiesta.

Another downside of 3 door cars is that because the doors are longer you need more space beside the car to open the door far enough to get out . Which is an issue in a lot of car parks these days which have very narrow spaces.   In my opinion some cars look better in two door eg Volvo 242 versus Volvo 244 and Ford Granada mk1 and mk2 saloons which weren’t sold in uk in 2 door but were in other parts of Europe (note I am referring to saloon not coupe)

One man's tasteful is another man's ridiculous!😀 I'd say 5 doors look fine with subtle mods, ie keeping the look in line with a factory 5 door ST or ST-Line.

Unless it's already been done though, I'd be more inclined to worry about the cambelt change which is due any time now, rather than doing cosmetic mods.
