Eve
Hi, I have a 2001 1.6 Ford Focus which i have had for about a year. The boot release button by the steering wheel has never worked which was fine whilst my key fob was working. Last year the key fob stopped working but with a quick battery change it was fine. Recently it has gone again and a change of battery has not fixed it. Also when i lock the car with the key, if the alarm beeps to say its set the alarm will then sound. I am in a situation where i have to lock then unlock the car then lock again until its locked with no 'alarm set' sound. Its driving me and the neighbours mad with constant beeping and alarm going off!! Any idea how i can fix the key fob or at least turn the alarm off!!! Reluctant to take it to a dealer only to be told it will cost hundreds of pounds, i am not a real car enthusiast just use it for getting to work so dont want to be paying alot of money. Thanks

drewtiss
I also got this annoying key fob problem for the last three weeks I guess. My old circuit board is broken. I'm not sure if this has gone into theft mode or something? __________________________________________________ Powered by Autopartswarehouse.com
