Would i be best just to buy a new module then yes. any idea why the aux port is dead, i dont think thet is connected to the bluetooth module?

I would start by replacing the Bluetooth module (eBay is a good place to look).

What have you tried plugging in to the Aux port and what lead are you using ?

i have tried multiple leads none with any effect, i will buy a new bluetooth module, i have seen posts with the same issue all over the net with no solution, some bought new modules but still didnt work, my lighter pot works so i have a usb for that and to be honest even if i can get the Aux port working i would be happy but have no clue what to do to fix it? cant seem to find anything on forums or youtube or anywhere on how to fix the aux port??

I may have the same issue, just bought a 2010 Fiesta, all I see is the following;

If the OP resolves this, let us know the fix, thanks

I really don't know, I just assumed it was as the facia says phone instead of sound.  I've seen them advertised on eBay, it appears you have to strip the dash to fit them?

Bluetooth was paid for option. All the fascia's have 'Phone' on them regardless of whether the bluetooth module is fitted or not. On those cars with out bluetooth then pressing the phone button just mutes the radio.

The bluetooth module is installed on the top of the glovebox so it's not that difficult to get too.

Replace the Aux port, it may be damaged.

Lots of new leads/ports available on eBay, for example:-

thanks i will try replacing both the usb/aux port and the bluetooth module.

its located under the passenger side footwell held in by 2 clips, the module should have 2 leads connected, one for usb and one for blutooth, i have both but nothing seems to work,

Been catching up on threads relating to the same issue.  I'll have a look under the glove box when the temp' improves!!!!

I'm getting the impression if there is no BT module, then it is not just a case of buying one and fitting it, as others have posted.

At the mo, none of the 12v, USB or Aux ports work.

Ok just had a check, I do have the BT with USB module fitted to car, unplugged and re-seated module, still the same issue.

Could it be something silly like a fuse?

checked all fuses and even replaced a few to be sure, not a fuse problem.

Fixed it, the correct number is; 8M5T-19C112-AR

£25 from AllFords in Speke, tested there and then as I had the wired already exposed.
