Roof box for MK 4 Focus estate

Hello,

I have a MK 4 Focus estate and am looking at roof box options for a family holiday later this year.  Mine is without the pano roof and has the silver roof rails.

Has anyone here got a roof box they use on their MK4 Focus estate, or make a recommendation?

    Don't know if this helps, but I had a Mont Blanc box (medium size) which I was happy with. It was half the price of some others but seemed fine. If you have a choice, I'd go for one that's hinged at the front rather than the side as I found it hard work fixing the box to the roof bars on the side where the hinges were - the lid gets in the way or you have to reach over from the other side of the car. I realised afterwards that the box doesn't have to be mounted centrally, so that would have made things a little easier for me.

    I'd always recommend Thule, good quality & easy to install. I've been using their stuff since 2014 and wouldn't buy anything else.
