Remap or induction kit first?

Hi everyone I have a MK2 focus 1.6tdci I've replaced the turbo and oil feed pipe and I've had a remap added to the car too, I purchased a K&N induction kit which hasn't come yet still but I'm being told I should've had it on before I had my remap done, but because I've had the map done before I've put it on I'm going to have to have another map done to it, just confused as I'm being told different things is all ant help is appreciated
