Radio/Phone Issue

Featured Replies

Anyone got any ideas? Bluetooth connection etc fine but when a call used to be received on my old Android phone, I would here the ring through the speakers and the radio/CD would automatically mute. Not sure whether this has changed because of swapping to iPhone but now all I get is a little message on the radio screen asking Accept/Reject. Because my eyes are on the road I don't see this (passenger pointed it out to me once). Did answer this once but caller volume very low.

I've tried resyncing the phone and taking out the fuse (68?) for a while as I've read that somewhere but nothing restores the ring through speakers.

Everything else i.e. voice activation etc works fine so is this something to do with iPhone or another issue?

I doubt this is it, but is your iPhone on silent (the little switch on top of left side) .   My fiesta is fine with my iPhone se 1st gen

Thanks for the suggestion re silent switch. Doesn't seem to make any difference but, again, many thanks for your help.

A 2011 Focus bluetooth is only fully compatible with iPhone gen 1, 2, and 3 although some functionality still works with later models.

Thanks, it's an iPhone SE 1st Gen

I phone se 1st gen is basically iPhone 6s innards in a iPhone 5s casing.   God knows why Apple have brought out a newer phone called iPhone se , it is causing confusion .
