Alarm activation

I have a 2013 1.25l petrol Zetec, I want to activate the alarm in forscan, is there a guide on this, I don't have the bonnet switch so would have to bridge the pins in the plug, is there anything else I need to know?

I'm not aware of a guide on this but maybe you could ask over on the FORScan forum ?

Other than as you say having to short out the bonnet switch circuit then it could just be a simple as activating the option. Please keep us posted, I'm sure many on here will find it useful.

Does the alarm use the main car horn or does it use a separate horn / sounder?  If so, have you fitted that?

As far as I'm aware it uses the car's horn

This is the topic I started on it on the forscan forum, apparently the as-built for the door modules has to be altered and the car may not have the additional horn and sensor required

That is a very useful answer that you got over at FORScan. So it seems that there is possibly quite a bit more involved than just simply turning it on.

Yeah, I think for the moment at least I'm not gonna touch it
