I have a mk 5 fiesta 02 plate. Over the last week the wipers and electric windows have been having an issy fit. They won't work at times and at others come on, by themselves. When you turn wipers on or try to open windows it's asthough there is a few minutes delay. Any ideas what it could be please.

    Most common problem for your model/year is water getting in to the GEM which is part of the fusebox in the passenger compartment.

    02 was a model change year and MK is ambiguous for a Fiesta of this age. Do you have a 2000-2002 or 2002- onward model.
    If in doubt, is the fusebox behind the glovebox or at drivers side lower dash?
