Rear near side side light 2019 fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

i have a 2019 fiesta ST Line. The last month I have had problems with n/s rear lamp. It failed and the bulb was changed. Still didn’t work so another bulb was tried. Nothing. Both bulbs were Ok. It came back on by itself for a couple of weeks then out again.

decided to take it to my main Ford dealership as still under warrantee. They had it all day and said it was working and found nothing wrong. I felt a right idiot. Came to use it today and light out again. What sort of intermittent fault could this be.

any thoughts please

Ty

Check fuses 23 and 25 in the engine bay fusebox (both are 15 Amp) one is for the left side the other for the right side.

If you are unsure if the fuse is OK then just swap them over and see if the problem with the light swaps side.

Thanks unofix

i will try swapping them tomorrow. If a fuse was loose or playing up I assume that could be intermittent. It was ok scouplecof weeks then lost light. Then came back on again, now off.

cheers

Ty

To be honest I never normally mention fuses and I cringe every time someone has a problem and they always try and blame a fuse. I did however think in this case it could be the fuse is loose and making intermittent contact.
