My 2009 Ford Focus 2.0 petrol titanium 145bhp seems to be the frankinstine

of the range I know they tried to make EU compliance and changed things twice that year when my Ford gets plugged in no faults come up I drove my car for a year and half with it cutting out exactly the same distance every day then restart and drive like a new car the rest of that day until the next day cut out again Ford main dealer Bromley charge me £724 to replace everything I had replaced in the 3 months before taking it to them even done a compression test at my expense and couldn’t provide read outs just attached to bill was the psi of each valve and that’s it no report nothing for around £150 but keen to send me a utube video £100 f a mechanic telling me my disc and pads were only 60% when I’d just had them fitted 5 weeks earlier Like my spark plugs two weeks old replaced them aswellreally worry who these people employ and their qualifications

and didn’t fix it 4 months later fuel crisis run out of fuel pushed it to petrol station and run perfectly after refuelling

New E5. E10 as my engine might be the 2.0 modal one and now makes loud noises under my feet

If you want E10 you'll have to pop over to Northern Ireland as we're still in the EU and E10 is the only grade that is currently sold. On a positive note your car will run on E5 and/or E10...

I think, 2.0 Zetec used in mk1, while in mk2/mk2.5, 1.8 and 2.0 (145 bhp) petrol engines are DuratecHE. At least mine is (with MTX-75 manual gearbox).

I prefer E5. Driven dozens of thousands miles both E5 and E10. Currently, over 107000 miles on clock.
By E10, engine's knocking quite often. After cleaning throttle body and changed to E5, knocking issue disappeared.
