No speedo

Featured Replies

In-laws turned up in their 2008 fusion, ABS light on and no speedometer.. I scanned it with Delphi and come up P0500 Vehicle speed sensor input error signal implausible. And when I went into the ABS system

C1234 RF speed sensor input missing and C1236 LR Speed sensor input missing..

do fusions take the speedo signal from the ABS system? I’ve soaked the abs sensor bolts in WD will try swapping them when new ones turn up.

Have you checked the abs sensor connectors first in case it’s just a poor connection?  And the plug on the abs unit? I would do that before buying new sensors

Yeah I unplugged them and sprayed them with contact cleaner and reconnected them

They actually said abs light been on since they bought it 😂 ( I’ve not seen them in a while) but only just lost speedo… so wondering if one sensors been faulty and now  a second and that’s why lost speedo
