Ford Focus mk3.5 bulb in headlight

Hi new poster here,,I have a focus mk3.5 with DTL’s but this other bulb doesn’t seem to work at all,,when side lights are turned on the DTL’S dim down but this lights doesn’t come on at all

Not sure but it’s exactly the same on my work mates focus aswell,doesn’t come on at all when lights are switched to all positions

Even if you flash the high beam?

They might also be cornering lights.  If you switch the lights to Auto position, cover the sensor so the lights come on, and then turn the steering wheel, one side will come on if it's the cornering lights.

Yes even if I flash the high beam,that just changes the other bulb,it doesn’t have auto lights either,,I’ve seen a previous post saying these don’t work if you have DTL’s but there wasn’t no concrete answer,,just find it strange that the bulbs are there but don’t do anything

Ah, they will be the cornering lights then.  They don't work without auto function so will just be unused on your model.

They're not cornering lights, they're only on Xenon's.

These are high beam and should only be on if you pull the indicator stalk back and the blue symbol is on on the instrument cluster.
