Focus MK3 Fuel Hose problem

Hi guys,

I have Ford focus mk3 2011 1.6TDCI 85KW. This winter I have a problem with fuel hose on low temperatures around  -5. Is this a common problem for focus mk3 because I replaced it with used fuel hose and both of them are broken on same way and same place on the hose.

I noticed on ebay there are fuel hoses with metal case and plastic case. Is there any reason why some of them have metal case on the fuel hose if anybody has any info I would be very thankful.
