Cable not connected. Ford Fiesta MK7 2008

Featured Replies

Checking the fuses, I noticed that one cable wasn't connected. Anyone know what is it for? I can't find where it should be connected. The photo shows two unconnected cables. I found where the one in the back should be. I have no idea about the gray one.

Besides, I have a problem with the airbag light constantly on.

thanks for help

That looks like a bulb holder for footwell lamps.

Airbag light constantly on on cluster?

Pull seats fully forward, disconnect battery, disconnect and reconnect plugs under seats about 3 times, to clean contacts.

Thanks for the answer. Cleaning contacts under the seat passenger and driver didn't help. Airbag light on the cluster comes on a few seconds after the engine is started.

You need to read the DTC's using FORScan which will tell you which sensor is causing the warning.

It's quite common on Fiesta's for the Crash sensor near the bonnet latch to fail, but please check the DTC's don't just go swapping things.
