Wiper washer not working but rear one is checked fuse ok .only one pump on bottle can hear pump working on rear but not front

Hello David, as you correctly say there is only one pump that does both front and back.

When you operate the front washer the pump rotates in one direction, for example clockwise, and when you operate the rear washer the pump rotates in the opposite direction.

If you can hear the pump operate in both directions then it is the case you have a blocked pipe or return valve. If don't hear the pump operating when using the front washer then the problem is electrical.

The operation of the pump is controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM). When you operate the switch for the front or rear screen wash the signal is sent from the switch to the BCM. There has been many problems of water (from the screen wash pump) getting inside of the wires that connect the pump to the BCM.

You need to remove the connectors from the BCM and check the pins and sockets, look for signs of water and/or greenish corrosion on the contacts.
