Fiesta 1.4 titanium 2009 radio issue

Featured Replies

Hi

i got this car yesterday so been trying to work out some of the features.

managed to get the Bluetooth calling working on it and called my mate whilst driving. Then the stereo screen went back to the date and time screen and Bluetooth dropped the call. None of the buttons cd etc worked, only the menu one. Turned car off and on and nothing. I then hit eject on the cd and put the cd back in. The stereo was back on now. I not. Managed to try it out again.

my friend suggested to try a hard reset. So might do that.

am going for a drive today so  will also try USB ports etc

any thoughts?

just a bit paranoid with this stuff as I had an ST before and had an issue with the wiring.

thanks

colin

Check fuses, also try disconnecting the battery, wait 10 minutes, reconnect it, that will force all modules to restart, if that doesn't work, it's more than likely the radio has died
