Split hose mk2 focus

Featured Replies

My focus  2005 1.6 petrol 1D9B7600-ACBE-4E6E-88B7-7A3711F0520E.thumb.jpeg.c5ef5ca50c836e6a72489fb168563c84.jpeghas started idling high and ive found this pipe is split. Can anyone tell me what its called please or part number so i can get a new one. Thank you

That is the crankcase breather hose which attaches to the block with the PCV valve on the end. If you grab the hose at the other end and pull it out then take it off where it's shown on the pic the part number should be on it. Be careful not to lose the pcv valve when you remove the end behind the intake.

I had a mk1 focus 1600 where the same thing happened. As a temporary repair I wrapped loads of insulation tape round it.  Never got round to do replacing it. When I sold the car about three years later it was still fine
