mk7 bluethoot module

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Since my new (2nd hand) Fiesta 2016 has no "Phone" button but it has USB AUX only I thought to buy an auxiliary Bluetooth module so I could just use my phone to play music ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B093DMCLLR/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ). Once I got to the stereo of my car I realized that the connector wasn't the one I was expecting (picture attached). Is there anything I can do with that Bluetooth module? If not, any suggestions? I would be happy to swap the USB with a Bluetooth module if I need to choose between them.

Thanks to anyone who will spare couple of min for me.

Hi Unofix, thanks for the reply. Here is my head unit.

You don't see many like that !!

I would replace the unit with the slightly better spec'd one like this on eBay:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144137490636?epid=1637165698&hash=item218f4390cc:g:d~8AAOSwiLZhCP-m

You will also need to get the additional Bluetooth unit that goes with these units. Sorry I can't advise on the wiring harness but I'm sure someone on here will be able to help

Yeah I think i will replace the whole head unit but unfortunately got other expenses at the moment. Thanks for the reply tho.

So yeah, if anyone else know a way to use this Bluetooth harness I will be happy to tear the head unit apart again 😄

That link is for the 6000CD, which was fitted to the older fiestas. I don't think you can get that module to work.
