hi

is it possible to have the rear interior lights come on when the door is opened , as the front interior lights do?

at the moment i can only get them on if i press them (no selector button like the front lights) and they just stay on / off

Both front and back should come on at the same time, mine do and I have a similar age car to yourself....

Have you tried pressing the selector button on the front to see if it makes any difference to the rear?

i think there is something up with them. owners manual says they should all come on when you press the button in the front.

also when i try to turn them on manually in the rear you have to long hold the button. just something not right
