Adaptive Cruise Control Fault S-Max 2012 UK

Featured Replies

Hi All

My 2012 S-Max Adaptive Cruise Control is not working:

- Allows entering standby and setting of distance to car in front.

- Then when pressing to engage ACC it turns off the ACC completely, cancelling standby.

- The collision warning feature is working perfectly.

- Occasionally I get an 'ACC Unavailable' warning message, but this is rare.  However, the ACC is permanently not working.

- I've checked the ACC fuse and that's fine.

- It was working fine until a couple of weeks ago, no notable changes or events have occurred to account for the change.

Any ideas before I take it to get looked at and charged a fortune?!

Thanks in advance, Dan
