I have a 2010 zetec that has a knocking on the steering,been on for a while anyone else have this problem ,and any solution

    I have seen mentioned on this forum before that fiestas of that age sometimes get clicking from the universal joint on steering column under the dash due to it needing lubrication.  Not sure if that counts as a knock

    A family members 11 plate fiesta does this when turning wheel from one direction to the other. garage diagnosed worn rack. In there case it didn't need replacing if you can live with it been doing it around 5 years and passes mot every time. I'd describe it more like a clunk than a knock through
