I'd be more inclined to investigate a blockage, as from memory, the headlight and windscreen are fed from the same bottle, so if headlights are working, wound indicate plumbing is choked up somewhere...

Same bottle but different pumps.

Might be the wiper stalk at fault if you're sure you changed the correct fuse and can't hear the pump working.

Won't be wiper stalk if the headlight washers work , can you hear the pump at all? I would start by checking for corrosion at the bcm. Also corrosion at the washer pump connector. Have you checked both fuses? 77 and 82.

Yes checked both fuses and changed them changed the washer pump and wiring harness to pump, still nothing I can hear relay clicking wiper arm works perfect any ideas

Have you checked the bcm connectors ?

Do you think I should get it tested before I change the bcm thanks any idea how much ford agent would charge to test electrics

If you are going to get it tested, there is a whole nationwide network of competent independent auto sparks that would do something like that rather than the often rip off prices a Ford dealer would charge.

I think changing the BCM would be the very last resort !

You need a good auto electrician/technician to do some fault finding before spending upwards of £500 to replace the BCM.

Did you check the BCM connector as suggested?
The attached might be of some use.

Is the washer pump fed from a relay in the engine bay? If so you can pull the relay out and short the contacts to simulate the relay operating. If washer works then the issue is with the relay or control circuit to it. If still no joy maybe wiring to the pump or a blockage somewhere. You can get swapping the relay with another one and see if that helps too.

See the wiring diagram as posted and you will see the relays are not serviceable and are part of the bcm.

Someone with a multimeter with a bit of electrical know how should diagnose easy enough.

Thanks for setting me straight on that - the headlamp washer has its own relay so I expected the standard washers to be similar......
