2010 focus wing mirror

Hi,

Does anyone know if a 2010 Focus can have a power fold, puddle light heated wing mirror installed, I rang ford and they said the wiring may be not compatable and if I did order from them and it was wrong I would have to keep them.

    It won't be plug and play.  Will depend on your trim level and modules.  If it's a Titanium the wiring might be there, but unlikely if it's just a Zetec.

    They also don't fold on the key on the Mk2.5 so you have to press the button on the door each time.  Not really worth retrofitting, though I did like mine as a rare optional extra!

    From memory to do the power fold upgrade you need the new mirrors, drivers door switch pack with the matching function to fold the mirrors then there’s an extra connection that needs plumbing in on the wiring for each door (door module connector to mirror connector I think) and you have to enable the feature using elmconfig or maybe forscan.

    Not plug and play sadly
