Saw an article the other day stating the Ford App does not have  charge after free trial.

Any details.

    The Ford App costs nothing to use.

    It's only the WiFi hostspot and traffic info on the Sync nav that have subscriptions.

    The navigation (satnav) built in to Sync, if yours has it.

    If you have an active traffic subscription it can re-route around traffic.

    What I meant to ask do you have to actually have to  sign up to Sync Nav or just use it. to be charged.

    If you have navigation in your car it is free to use and updates are free. The only thing that you can pay for is the 'Live Traffic' updates. If you don't have a live traffic update subscription then it is just not available when you use the satnav.

    Just use google maps on your phone prior to setting off. It's really that simple.
