Retrofit double din to 2009 Fusion

Hi all,

I have a 2009 Fusion and want to know if it is possible to replace my original radio with a double din that includes sat nav?  I have tried looking online, but none of the units seem to match the opening size of the existing unit. I am hoping for one that doesn't require my having to connect my phone in order to use maps.

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I am that guy  🙂

    I bought a unit from Aliexpress. It fits perfectly into the slot. The hardest bit was getting the old stereo out as you need 4 keys and only 2 were provided. Got there in the end by doing it one side at a time and using a Clubcard to stop it slotting back in.

    Just search "Ford Fusion stereo" and you'll see them. I got mine from France and it came a few days after dispatch.

    Thanks Charco. I got one from Xtrons for £187 in the end. Very good fit straight out of the box too. 

    I also had to buy some keys lol.

    Just been reading thru this, I have been toying with the idea of getting one of these radios for years now... but have had conflicting information on what fits...
