2018/18 Zetec Edition Parking Sensors volume too low

Featured Replies

As above really!

The bleeps on the rear parking sensors ARE audible, but extremely quiet to the point I sometimes forget about I have assistance available to me! they're pathetically quiet to be fair.

It's really important to me as I'm only partiality able.

I've looked on the forum and tried the same instructions received from this site (THANK YOU) on how to increase sat nav audio via volume buttons when it's talking, but alas that doesn't work for raising the volume of the bleeps for my rear sensors.(I only have reverse sensors)

I'm hoping some kind soul on here can help me again please. Only raised a new topic for searchability reasons ......... Thanks & Regards, M.

Hello Martin, as far as I know there are no means to adjust the volume of the factory fitted parking sensors. Maybe you could try and visit a showroom and test another 2018 Focus and see if it is the same as yours ? (my 2019 Focus is quite loud)

It has been said on other forums that disconnecting the battery negative lead for 10 minutes will cause the parking module to reset and the volume returns to a normal level. It might be worth trying.

If you have dealer fit parking sensors the speaker is in the rear of the car, you may be able to move the position of the speaker so you can hear it better

I'll give the negative battery thing a go thanks

Dave, whereabouts specifically is the speaker please.. I'm sure they're factory fit 100%
