Spare Wheel Mark 8 Titanium

Featured Replies

Hi, I have decided to purchase a spare wheel but getting really confused.

I have a 1L Ecoboost Titanium, Mark 8, Registered March 2020.

My hand book informs me I need a 175/65/R14 which is good, but it’s the polystyrene Jack Kit holder that confusing me.

There seems to be 2 different ones, one of them has an insert for the jack to fit neatly in the kit with the other tools and the other holder doesn’t.

Also I have a polystyrene holder where my spare wheel should go, there isn’t a space for the wheel as it has different compartments but the man from the main dealer told me today that the spare wheel I can buy from him for £280 does come with a polystyrene wheel holder that I can swap out with the one I have.

Just need to know what should I purchase.

I wish I knew how to post pictures as I could explain better.

These pictures might help, jack kit holders, should I go for the first one with the jack sitting in it's own insert.

This is what I have already (second one), I can't see how a wheel will sit in one of these.

It won’t, it’s for the tyre inflator and repair foam, you would take this foam out.

The second jack kit might be better, with the first one the boot carpet will sag.

Ask the dealer for a breakdown of the parts list for the kit, then find them on eBay if you don’t want to pay the dealer price.
