Mk4 focus, cup holder ambient lighting

I recently bought a focus manual. Can anyone tell me if there is meant to be 2 ambient strip lights in the cup holder area as I only have 1?

    There is only one light in the middle (at the very bottom) of the cup holders. It illuminates both sides but it has to be dark for them to be clearly seen.

    Thats on the automatic. I have a manual and the light is near the top on 1 side.

    Not much help here either I'm afraid.

    I know there are ambient lighting in the cup holders and surround from we first got the car a while back but our interior lights have been switched off for as long as I can remember and the centre console area is generally closed to keep the shopping trolley token nicely hidden away from any would be scoundrels.

    With everyone saying only one light, I'm guessing this has change in the updates, as 2 in mine
